Who we are

Fasture has been manufacturing fine furniture for the past 15 years. The name is a portmanteau of the words: furniture + architecture + structure. In some ways, much of what we do today follows the original passion and direction with which we started. We still strive to combine unconventional materials and finishes into innovative designs. We still highly esteem craftsmanship and build-quality. We are still excited and motivated by projects which push creative and technical possibilities.

What we do

Today, both our capacity to create higher volumes and our stronger industry relationships allow us to tackle bigger projects, and pass on these efficiencies to our smaller clients. With a diverse portfolio of work under our belt, we’re now able to offer a catalogue of loose furnishings for a wide range of home and office use. This brings us closer to our ultimate goal: to make useful, affordable and desirable products available to as many people as possible - good design should not be the exclusive domain of a select few.

We offer a unique turnkey solution which includes design, manufacture and installation. When it comes to installation and working with shopfitters, we like to take the guesswork out of the process. Our fitted furniture is designed with pinpoint accuracy using a computerised design and manufacture process. This ensures that the final step in the process doesn’t have to hold the whole project up.

Where we do it

We’d like to think that our roots lie deeply in African soil, but that our branches have started to spread a bit further. Our strongest customer base still lies in South Africa, but we are seeing a greater demand from clients with international operations, having worked in the Seychelles, Maldives and Dubai. All our products are manufactured and designed at our premises in Johannesburg, our installation team then carefully packs, transports and installs on site.
